So Much to Do !

2 Rock Cottage is a pretty Victorian cottage built in 1887 with stunning views overlooking the river Dart and rolling Devon countryside, with the peaks of Dartmoor National Park into the distance.

Dittisham is one of the most attractive and beautiful villages in the South Hams of Devon with quaint thatched cottages lining meandering lanes, all leading down to the river.

There are two historic pubs, The Red Lion just a couple of minutes walk from the cottage door, also the waterside characterful Ferry Boat Inn down on the waterfront a short walk away.  Both pubs serving excellent food and drinks.

Take a scenic ferry ride to Dartmouth on one of the traditional ferries, downriver between the wooded valley sides, passing yachts and motorboats,

Catch a glimpse of the steamtrain on it's way from Kingswear to Churston over the Maypool Viaduct.

Ring the bell at the Anchorstone Cafe at the pontoon edge to call over the the traditional wooden clinker water taxi from Greenway Quay, to carry you over to Greenway, the world famous home of Agatha Christie, recently adopted by The National Trust, now refurbished and open to the public.

Dittisham is the perfect centre for Yachting, walking, Crab fishing or just relaxing and taking in the scenery.

Walking within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty The Dart Valley Trail is always a popular activity Dittisham to Totnes  and Greenway to Dartmouth are some of the most beautiful walks in Devon along the South West Coastal Path.

At the of your day, on a clear cloudless night, the myriad of stars is a breathtaking sight to experience.
